Kevin Theis
Kevin has been an actor, director, writer and theatrical producer in Chicago for more than 20 years (though he says it seems like yesterday). He has performed at, among others, the Goodman Theatre, Next Theatre, Peninsula Players, CT20 Ensemble (where he served as Artistic Director) and Seanachai Theatre (where he is an ensemble member).
As a director, Kevin has staged productions for Seanachai, CT20, the Oak Park Festival Theatre, City Lit, Lifeline Theatre and many more, and has been nominated for three Joseph Jefferson Awards for his directing work. He also appeared in the film “Just Visiting,” but don’t watch it. It is truly an awful movie.
His previously published works include adaptations of Thomas Heywood’s “Fair Maid of the West” and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Sign of the Four” (the latter in conjunction with Shanghai Low Theatricals). Both titles are available through Dramatic Publishing.
Kevin is a Cancer and his turnoffs include people who talk during movies and frogs.
